It was the beggining of the XX century, and Nazimova had a contract of $13,000 per week, which means an opulent life. Nazimova had homosexual relationships, including with the actress Tallulah Bankhead which had also life and carreer marked by whimsical behaviour. Lived in a “lavender marriage” with a obviously gay british actor. On the apex of her carreer, settled at the very atrium of Hollywood, Nazimova throwed parties of debauchery and orgy in her mansion, the “Garden of Alah”. When the scandal of her sexual instincts became public, Nazimova fell from the sucess to the mud. Rejected by moved and destined to fail, she attempted suicide. She died at 66 of a coronary thrombosis, not long after publishing her autobiography.
